My primary motivation for running to be treasurer is to drive inclusion in the legal profession through the adoption of financial products and practices.

I shall be doing this through:

1. Instituting a flexible payment system thereby making memberships affordable in the cost of living crisis we live in; and
2. Introducing newer, better services and practices that ensure more funds are judiciously spent.

WHY DO THESE MATTER?

These matter because as we see, there is a massive underrepresentation in our legal system such that the making and adjudication of laws are not representative of the diverse British society today.

A flexible payment system ensures that barriers to accessibility of the legal profession is lowered by the club being able to admit more members and organise networking events across private and public law sectors.

Similarly, more members mean more money and paying less for goods and services mean we have more resources to expend where matters most.

WHY ME?

I am running for this position firstly because I am passionate about promoting an equitable society and secondly in view of the fact that I have an excellent track record bringing about beneficial improvements to the previous roles I have occupied.
